Founded in 2006 by the Warren Family, DREAM began with a vision to empower and uplift underserved youth. After a successful career as a professional athlete with the Green Bay Packers, Steven Warren returned to Nebraska, where he had played college football, with a desire to give back to his community. Volunteering in local schools, he saw firsthand the challenges many young people faced due to limited resources and support. Determined to make a difference, Steven gathered a group of former teammates and friends who shared his commitment to helping youth reach their potential.

What began as a single after-school program has since blossomed into a powerful community resource, now serving youth across eight schools. Over time, we’ve expanded to offer group mentoring, athletic training, and more, including the opening of our dedicated training facility. Today, DREAM serves children and teens all across Nebraska and Southwest Iowa, providing the tools, mentorship, and opportunities they need to build brighter futures.

We are proud to continue the Warren family's mission of helping young people grow into confident, compassionate leaders—changing lives and communities, one step at a time.
