About DREAM

Our History

Our mission is to expand opportunities for at-risk youth by providing positive role models, experiences and assistance.

An increasing amount of children are growing up in poverty and in communities ravaged by violence. Many families lack the resources to meet the basic needs for food, clothing and shelter. Children living in poverty have lower self-esteem, higher absenteeism in school or drop out of school all together. Kids who drop out of school will most likely never escape the grip of poverty, creating a cycle of despair and hopelessness.

In 2006, the Warren family founded DREAM (Developing Relationships through Education, Athletics and Mentoring) to help at-risk youth living in poverty. Our vision is to provide support and encouragement to young people through after school programs, mentoring, sports training and general support.
